Policies

Checking In/Out

·          All completed forms are required to be faxed, sent, or turned in at or prior to your dog’s first stay, unless other arrangements have been made. 

·          At The UltiMutt Inn & Pet Resort our guest are our number one priority. We do our utmost to provide the best environment for our guests so that their stay is happy, stress-free and comfortable. We want our guests to look forward to coming back!   We have hours by appointment only for pick-ups and drop-offs. This ensures our guests privacy and the chance to enjoy The UltiMutt Inn.

 

Reservations

·          Reservations are required. See the desk, call us, or email us for reservation arrangements.

·          We require a $60. non-refundable room deposit (credit card, cash, check) at the time you make your reservation to hold your reservation.  If paying by check or cash, your deposit can be applied to your final bill.  It is only refundable if you cancel your reservation 7 days or more in advance of your dog’s stay.  Otherwise, the $60. deposit is forfeited.

·          We understand that plans sometimes can change and your reservation dates will need to be extended.  Please have the courtesy to telephone or email us if you will not be picking up on your scheduled date.  Please understand that during peak times we operate at full capacity much of the time and are not able to accommodate another boarder without knowing when your pets will be leaving.  We welcome stay extensions, with notice.

·          Please let us know in advance of your change in plans.  If a bath or grooming is scheduled, we plan to perform those services on the day of departure so you will need to let us know the change of departure time or date so we may change the grooming date (or time) and have your pet’s grooming or bath done earlier.  All early returns without notice will be charged for the full time reserved.

·          The UltiMutt Inn accepts Visa, Mastercard, debit cards, cash, money orders and personal checks.  Fees may be paid upon drop-off or pick-up.   A $25.00 returned-check fee will be incurred for all returned checks.

·          If our policies, prices, or hours are not agreeable or not acceptable in your given situation, we would rather you utilize another facility then upset our guests' carefully controlled routine. The UltiMutt Inn & Pet Resort's prices, policies, and hours are not negotiable

 


Requirements

·          All dogs must be non-aggressive, well-socialized with other dogs and people and with no history of vicious biting, heavy barking, destructiveness or escape behaviors, including digging under, climbing or jumping fences.

 

 

 

·         All dogs must be 4 months of age or older and/or have up-to-date and proof of vaccinations (DHLPP, Rabies, Bordetella vaccines). 

·          All dogs Should have an identification tag with either a phone number or address of the owner. We recommend that the tag include the dog's name. All dogs must be on a leash when entering or leaving a building.

·          All dogs must be in good health. If your dog had been vomiting, coughing, gagging, sneezing or has diarrhea please call us before coming. Dogs displaying any of these symptoms will not be admitted. Just like children, if one gets sick, they all get sick.

·          All guests should be housebroken and continent of bowels and bladder (unless specific arrangements have been made ahead of time).

·          All guests should be on a flea preventative such as Frontline, Advantage, Revolution, etc. Pets showing signs of fleas or ticks will be treated at owner's expense. Please ask at the front desk for pricing.

·          The UltiMutt Inn reserves the right to immediately change your dog's type of boarding/daycare if we believe it is necessary to protect the health and well being of your dog, other dogs, or a staff member.

·          The UltiMutt Inn cannot guarantee that toys, blankets, or bed will be kept in the same condition as brought in.  The UltiMutt Inn is not responsible for lost, stolen or broken items.

·          Dog owner understands the risks involved with communal boarding of dogs. Our boarding and daycare dogs at times may play in the yard and inside with other dogs. Although we use discretion in forming play groups, the unpredictable personality of dogs can sometimes lead to injury.

 


Please read the requirements carefully, & fill out all the necessary forms.  They need to be returned to us prior to or at you dog's first stay.

All drop-offs, pick-ups, and tours are made by prescheduled appointment only.  Please call ahead to make an appointment!
(We are closed for doggie nap-time between 1-3 pm unless special arrangements have been made.)
